Many tourists are willing to pay 8,888 yuan (nearly 29 million VND) for a night in a hotel room to fully view the life of a rare and highly valuable pig species in China.
This room is on the first floor of a castle-like building, located in Jinhua City amusement park (Zhejiang, China). The windows are sealed to keep the hotel from smelling, allowing guests to look down into the pig pens below.

Dubbed Jinhua’s Disneyland, the park was opened to promote and preserve panda pigs. They have a unique black head and tail, and a white body like a panda. This breed of pig is the source of meat that produces China’s famous Jinhua ham.
In 2016, Qianjiang Evening News pointed out that every year in Jinhua there are only about 75,000 to 80,000 pigs of this breed, accounting for only 3-4% of the city’s total pig population. The panda pig breed thus became so rare that the Japanese even named it “magic pig”.
