Amprolium HCl
Solvents ad.
INDICATION
Prevention and treatment of coccidiosis and Histomonas caused by the protozoan parasite Histomonas in cattle, calves, goats, sheep and poultry, especially E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina and E. praecox, etc.
CONTRAINDICATION
Animals sensitive to the ingredients of the drug
Use in laying hens may induce ovulation. Do not administer to laying hens producing eggs for human consumption
USAGE AND DOSAGE
For oral administration
Poultry: 125 – 200 ml per 100 liters of drinking water for 5 – 7 days, followed by 30 ml per 100 liters of drinking water for 1 or 2 weeks. (During treatment, only use medicated drinking water)
Calves and sheep: 4 ml per 20 kg of body weight for 1 – 2 days, followed by 10 liters per 1 000 liters of drinking water for 3 weeks
Cattle and sheep: 4 ml per 20 kg of body weight for 5 days
Mix with feed and use immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours
If no improvement is seen within 3 days, evaluate symptoms to determine the presence of other diseases. Follow the veterinarian or avian pathologist’s instructions
WITHDRAWAL TIMES
For meat: 3 days
For milk: 3 days
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, at temperature 15 – 25°C
