1. RI CHICKEN

  • Characteristics: Ri chicken has relatively diverse colored feathers, compact body, short legs, average weight from 1.5 to 2 kg. Most hens have straw yellow, earthy yellow or light brown feathers, with black spots on the neck, tail and wing tips.   • Characteristics: Ho chickens have a large body, with an average weight of 3.5 to 5 kg.
  • The rooster has two main feather colors: bluish black and dark red. The rooster is tall, big and long-bodied, with a square back and a broad chest. The weight of an adult rooster ranges from 4.5 – 5.5 kg. Hens have three feather colors: clay color, sparrow feather color and dried longan peel color. 4. HMONG CHICKEN

Hmong chicken or Meo chicken or black bone chicken is a chicken breed of the H’Mong ethnic group, raised mainly in the northern mountainous provinces such as Ha Giang and Lao Cai.

  • Characteristics: H’Mong chicken is a breed with tall appearance, strawberry crest, flag crest, many feathers, most commonly apricot colored feathers, black, pure white, H’Mong chicken has very little fat, tough meat, sweet and fragrant. In general, they have black meat and bones, four clawed feet, and low fat content in the meat. Especially eating meat that is firm, crispy, and delicious.   • Characteristics: J-DABACO chicken is a chicken breed that retains the especially delicious meat quality of traditional Ri chicken, has a beautiful appearance (flag crest, compact feathers, plum red feathers, small yellow legs).
