Live hog prices today, September 12, show mixed adjustments across regions, ranging from 57,000 – 61,000 VND/kg.
Northern region
On September 12, live hog prices in the North recorded a slight decline, with purchase prices ranging from 57,000 – 60,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, prices in Phu Tho decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the rate down to 60,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, provinces such as Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hung Yen, and Hai Phong continued to maintain prices at 60,000 VND/kg.
Other localities reported no new price fluctuations.

Central and Central Highlands region
Today, live hog prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions remained relatively stable, ranging from 57,000 – 59,000 VND/kg.
In Quang Ngai, prices increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 58,000 VND/kg.
Provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Lam Dong continued to purchase at 59,000 VND/kg.
In Ha Tinh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa, prices stayed at 58,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, Quang Tri, Hue, and Da Nang maintained the region’s lowest price at 57,000 VND/kg.
Southern region
In the South, many localities recorded price increases today, with trading ranging from 59,000 – 61,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City both rose by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 60,000 VND/kg.
Similarly, Tay Ninh and Dong Thap increased to 61,000 VND/kg.
Traders in other localities continued purchasing at unchanged prices.
